ArtSource co-owner and artist Nancy McClure, known for her mostly abstract paintings, has a new creative outlet: bead making. After taking a lampwork glass bead making class in Aruba last December and again in February 2011, Nancy has found a new love – the ancient art of creating glass beads. It has become quiet an obsession as she is behind the torch on a daily basis learning and experimenting with the endless designs and combinations of colors.  “you never really know what the bead will look like until it is fully annealed, and cleaned,” says Nancy.
