Warren Dennis Brings New Figurative Paintings

Painter Warren Dennis hails from the mountains of North Carolina, where he served on the faculty of Appalachain State University's art department for many years. Whimsical and at times humorous, the contemporary figurative paintings of Warren Dennis make excellent use of shape and color.

Sandy Nelson - Finalist in National Competition

Congratulations to ArtSource artist, Sandy Nelson, for having one of her paintings selected as a finalist in the national competition, "Showcase Your State". The competition finalists were selected by the editors of American Artist Magazine from thousands of entries. Here is the link for the online announcement on their website:

The painting by Sandy Nelson, above, isn't the finalist in the competition, but is a beautiful painting nonetheless. This oil on canvas, "Windswept" measures 16"x20" and is priced at $1200.
